Italian trombonist Peter Steiner’s playing has been described as “beautifully controlled with a vocal sound” and he is recognized around the world as “a new trombone star within his generation.” His career has taken him all over the world as a soloist, principal, or guest chair in numerous top tier orchestras.Peter Steiner returns to perform at PSU, this time as a part of a duo with organist Constanze Hochwartner. Their collaboration has already taken them to Austria, Australia, China, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand as well as the United States.
