52nd Annual PSU Jazz Festival

When The Lao Tizer Band takes the stage in the 52nd Annual Pitt State Jazz Festival Concert, expect an electrifying mix of jazz, funk, soul, and world influences, led by keyboardist and bandleader Lao Tizer, a former “Best New Jazz Artist” nominee.
The band includes:
Lao Tizer - piano, keys
Elliott Yamin - vocals
Chieli Minucci - guitar
Anthony Crawford - bass
Gene Coye - drums
At 6:45: A pre-concert guest appearance by the student funk-fusion-jazz band The Little Green Men
At 7:30: The official concert will open with the Pitt State Jazz Band directed by Dr. Todd Hastings
The Lao Tizer Band will follow as the headliner act.
A limited number of tickets for floor seating are on sale at the PSU Ticket Office — NOT at Memorial Auditorium. Balcony seating is reserved for members of more than 70 area high school jazz bands.
